All City Showdown Premiere on Saturday, October 11th at King Cobra! All Ages! 8pm
Just a reminder about the All City Showdown Results and Premiere on Saturday, October 11th at King Cobra! All Ages! 8pm
All proceeds go to Marginal Way Skatepark
http://allcityshowdown.com/
All City Showdown is Seattle's premiere street skating contest. Started in 06 35th North skate shop came up with the most simple way to throw a real street skating contest- Get the best skaters in the area together, let them bring 1 filmer and give them five hours to collect footage from all over the city and then hand over the tapes at the end. The tapes are then edited down only to be seen by the judges, the video is then made and results are announced at the premiere. Last part wins the cash.
The final product is a glimpse of the Seattle skate scene and the incredible amount of ripping that can go down simultaneously in just 5 hours. Friends from out of town are welcome to enter and there are no divisions. The whole thing is controlled and run by skateboarders and the judges look at everything- tricks, style, number of spots, creativity and of course gnarlitude.

Cleaning Day
So last wednesday we had a cleaning day at the park. We painted over the graffiti and posted the NO BIKES rule.
The biggest problem down there is that someone couldn't wait for the next build and decided to pour some concrete. They patched the bottom of the old concrete QP and it's really janky. For some reason they slapped a bunch of mud on the little QP as well and just made it way rougher to skate. This is in the thanks but no thanks category. We appreciate that you are trying to help but please be patient. We intend on finishing things down there.
If you want to help please contact us through the website or make a donation. Thanks.
